A recent study in US shows that people who are running regularly can live longer than those who are not running at all. Running for just few minutes daily can do the magic for you. Its not a hidden fact that people who are engaged in some sort of physical activities have healthy and long life - regardless of their weight.
Observations:
Adult aged between 18 and 100 years, totaling a huge group of 55,137, average age year 44, have been studied very closely for more than 15 years. During this study, it has been found that 1217 people faced death because of cardiovascular problems and 3413 death were reported of all other causes. Observers said that 24% people were running daily.
Results:
When compared to those numbers with those people who are not running daily, observers reported that the cardiovascular risks were lower in runner upto 45 percent, resulted in premature death because of all other reason. People who were running daily had a significant 30% decreased risk of death from all causes and 45% decreases risk from cardiovascular, stroke and heart diseases.
Researchers involved in the study stated that those people who were running daily were not professionals athletes or marathon runners, they were just running for an average of 51 minutes on weekly basis. If further calculated, it would be little more than 7 minutes of running, everyday of the week.
