Who would have thought that what you eat affects your skin? Not only is it important to stray away from the pizza face, but there are certain foods that will improve the look of your skin.

Pomegranate:
Pomegranate is a great fruit to eat because of its high antioxidant content. These antioxidants help to rid the skin of free radicals, which are typically formed from sun damage. These free radicals inhibit the cell membrane in your skin, and have the potential to damage your DNA. If DNA is damaged, the problem can only replicate and not be fixed.

You Are What You Eat

Salmon:
This pink fish is awesome for your skin because of its fatty acids. The fatty acids help to repair and maintain the cell membrane in your skin. It creates a kind of barrier to keep water in skin cells, and allows for skin to keep hydrated and soft.

Green Tea:
This is like the magical elixir for scientific studies. Green tea is not only healthy for skin, but it is proven to work wonders for the body as well. The tea leaves contain an anti-inflammatory agent that will reduce puffiness and irritation of the cell membrane. There are studies that theorize that green tea will actually help to prevent cancer.

Water:
Water is the essential to human existence. Our bodies are made up of 70% water, so it's only natural that it is insanely good for us. Hard water is actually better for our bodies because of the natural mineral content. The more water we drink, the more efficiently our bodies sweat, which rids our skin of toxins and impurities.

Add these four foods and drinks into your diet and results are guaranteed. Not only are these items healthy for you, they are natural, and will provide natural looking results.

Most women struggle to look beautiful and stay within a budget. Women want to look their best, but want to do so without having to pay high prices for beauty products and services. While it seems that there aren't many quick fixes for beauty, there are ways to go about looking great for less. Here are a few ways you can save money in every area of your personal appearance.
Hair:
Before you dismiss the concept of getting your hair cut at a beauty school think about it for a moment. There are dozens of students there who are learning and are eager to take care of you and do well. A seasoned hair dresser may determine that they understand what it is best for your hair and make little changes you might not have approved of. A student will listen to you and do their best to give you the hairstyle you requested. When you factor that in with the saving you can get, you would be foolish not to give it a try.

Clothes:Get familiar with being a clearance shopper. Every department store puts their clothes on clearance at some point. Clothes are not like expensive chocolates. Clothes are often sold at a discount. Heading to the clearance rack, especially when the clothes are about to become out of season, is a great way to find great value for a little bit of money. The more reasonable the store, the more clothes you can get for your money.

Makeup:It's hard to match the quality of good makeup with cheaper brands, but a good way to try is at the cosmetic counter. There you can ask a consultant to match the color of makeup that is right for you. Once you have that knowledge you can begin to shop for a similar color of makeup that is on sale.

Everything organic is good for you. If you find your skin looking a bit dye, or irritated than you might be using the wrong type of makeup products on your skin. We all have different complexions and sometimes, our skin may react differently from one another. There are however a range of natural cosmetics available in the market.

Although these products are known to not have the best results when it comes to coverage, the major benefit of natural cosmetics is that they are proven to be suited for individuals with sensitive or acne prone skin. This is a good way to remove any irritation that you may have and still have some coverage while your skin is recovering from all the dirt and makeup from the past.

I must admit I have been overindulging in ice cream this past month, which has already made some of my tighter clothes unfitting. And although I am sorry to say this, I'm going on a stricter diet from today, which means little or no carbs – and no ice cream.

As I am sucking on ice cubes, imagining it was thick, delicious Italian gelato (did I mention I was a real foodie?), I am trying to decide which fitness activity to start, since there is no such thing as true weight loss without exercise.

And although I am going to start running as soon as I can fit into my shorts, I am not going to sit round doing nothing: I'm going to breathe.

You've read right, you can exercise while simply breathing, which is a technique I learnt in my lazier years. The trick is to inhale, contract any muscles you have in the abdominal area, hold your breath for a few seconds and exhale, relaxing your muscles. Doing this becomes natural after a couple of minutes.

Breathing your stomach muscles into shape can be done virtually anywhere, sitting in front of a computer, watching a chick-flick or riding public transportation. It can be also done with other body parts, such as buttocks or thighs.

Happy exercise breathing, and let me know if any of you are on the weight loss path too, we can share the heart pain!

We all have habits that may be damaging to our health and skin, whether it's stopping for donuts before work every morning or visiting the tanning bed once a month to achieve a bronze glow.

But some of these habits are far more damaging to our health and skin than we realize and may be difficult to stop. Too much alcohol, drug use, and smoking can cause a number of health problems, including:

Premature aging
Heart problems
Various types of cancer
Weight gain (there's a reason it's called a Beer Belly!)
Liver disease
Sexual dysfunction
Infertility/birth defects if consumed while pregnant

These are just a few of many problems that can be avoided. If you want to stay radiant and beautiful, it's a good idea to consider giving up these vices. While alcohol in moderation is not necessarily harmful and can even be beneficial, no good can come from drinking it in excess. As for drugs and smoking, there is no circumstance in which it can ever be good for you.

If you think you have a problem, consider these tips for ridding yourself of unhealthy vices and getting back on track to a beautiful you:

1. Get help. If your alcohol or drug use is interfering with your social life, relationships, or work, you may need professional help. There are many outpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers that can give you the help you need while still allowing you to carry on with your daily activities.

2. Make a list of why you want to quit and go to that list when you feel tempted.

3. Enlist the help of friends. Your friends and family want you to be healthy and beautiful, so ask for their support in quitting. You could ask that they not smoke around you so you're not tempted, or look for activities that don't involve alcohol.

Want to look good in mirror and in other people's eyes? its simple, do a full body workout. Still, there are some people who just concentrate on upper body, not giving much importance to legs, which results in CHICKEN legs.. When we are talking about body building, then it includes legs too, why some people don't get this? Each and every body parts should be trained, especially legs from every angle.

Personally, I have seen many people constantly working out in gym solely for chest, bigger arms, broad shoulders, but legs. Many youngsters, who have just started training in gym, want those six pack abs and v-shape body within months. They just don't care that how weird they would look in those chicken legs. My advice: Don't make your everyday, upper body day.

In my opinion, whether you want to train yourself for any sports or just for the sole purpose of making yourself happy, a pair of good legs would be great. There are many myths about training legs and the one heard most of the time is that it won't help upper half in building muscles. Please, just don't listen to those who think training legs is waste of time. Legs can make or break your appearance.

Training legs muscles on regular basis, works out for the whole body. To look just great, you need to maintain the proper size of each part of your body. Apart from that, training legs have many health benefits such as fat loss, improves your blood circulation, builds muscles, improves heart rate and helps in fighting many health diseases.

Killer Workouts for Legs and its Benefits:

1. Hamstrings Exercises: When Working out for legs to get a perfect tone and tighten them, you can't neglect hamstrings. From all, training hamstrings muscles are very important and is my favorite too. Hamstrings are the one that controls your legs activities like bending them and flexing. To tone your back thighs in great shape, hamstrings exercises are the best. There are many great exercises that are specifically targeting hamstrings such as: Dumbbell Stiff-legged Deadlift, Floor Glute-Ham Raise, Barbell Deadlift, Lying Leg Curls, Romanian Barbell Deadlift.

2. Quads workouts: Simply, we call them as the thighs, a large group of muscles at the top and front of your legs. This is what we call quadriceps in technical terms. If you are seeing yourself participating in body building competitions, then you should think of developing larger thighs, with quadriceps training or I should say its a must. Some of the best ones for quadriceps training are: Box Squat with Bands, Jumping Lunge, Barbell Lunge , Squat with Stability Ball, Front Squats With Two Kettle bells.

3. Leg Presses: There is always debate going on between leg press and squats for toning legs in perfect shape and size. I would rank both of them very high as each of them has it own sets of benefits when training leg muscles.  Leg presses are great for burning down huge amount of calories from quads and helps strengthening lower body. Leg press works for hamstrings, quadriceps and glutes too, building both strength and size in the quads. This legs exercise are very simple with many variations for great results.

4. Squats: The most popular exercise among women's to tone down their butt and thighs. Nothing works like squats when you want to create symmetry and to tone down your legs. Many people consider squats solely for leg exercise, but in reality its an exercise for full body movement including hamstrings and glutes. This exercise works every muscle, a great workout for whole body, mainly targeting your butt and thighs. For bigger thighs, quadriceps and heavy weight squats are unbeatable. Some of the most popular variations of squats are: Barbell squat, Box Squat, Wide Stance Squat, Barbell Front Squat, Assisted Squat, Goblet Bulgarian Split Squat, Barbell Side Split Squat

Again, Never Ever Skip a Leg Day!!
