No matter how much you spend on makeup, there is just no substitute for great skin. Here are a few healthy skin care tips based on diet to help you get that youthful glow you once enjoyed.

1. DO get the natural benefit of cucumbers — the best way to clean out your skin from the inside. Drink fresh cucumber juice combined with carrot and apple for a delicious "inner facial."

2. DO experiment with natural masks made with blended oatmeal, avocado, yogurt, and honey. Wet your face with a warm washcloth to open the pores and apply. Wait until dry, and gently rinse off with warm water. Finish off with a cool rinse to close the pores. Your face will love it!

3. DO avoid processed and oily foods. When the body senses these toxins, some of that natural expulsion is through your skin.

4. DO relax with your feet up on the wall (unless you have high blood pressure) for five minutes every day. This brings a fresh supply of blood to all the organs of your body, — your skin is the largest one of them. It's also very calming.
