Who would have thought that what you eat affects your skin? Not only is it important to stray away from the pizza face, but there are certain foods that will improve the look of your skin.

Pomegranate:
Pomegranate is a great fruit to eat because of its high antioxidant content. These antioxidants help to rid the skin of free radicals, which are typically formed from sun damage. These free radicals inhibit the cell membrane in your skin, and have the potential to damage your DNA. If DNA is damaged, the problem can only replicate and not be fixed.

You Are What You Eat

Salmon:
This pink fish is awesome for your skin because of its fatty acids. The fatty acids help to repair and maintain the cell membrane in your skin. It creates a kind of barrier to keep water in skin cells, and allows for skin to keep hydrated and soft.

Green Tea:
This is like the magical elixir for scientific studies. Green tea is not only healthy for skin, but it is proven to work wonders for the body as well. The tea leaves contain an anti-inflammatory agent that will reduce puffiness and irritation of the cell membrane. There are studies that theorize that green tea will actually help to prevent cancer.

Water:
Water is the essential to human existence. Our bodies are made up of 70% water, so it's only natural that it is insanely good for us. Hard water is actually better for our bodies because of the natural mineral content. The more water we drink, the more efficiently our bodies sweat, which rids our skin of toxins and impurities.

Add these four foods and drinks into your diet and results are guaranteed. Not only are these items healthy for you, they are natural, and will provide natural looking results.

Most women struggle to look beautiful and stay within a budget. Women want to look their best, but want to do so without having to pay high prices for beauty products and services. While it seems that there aren't many quick fixes for beauty, there are ways to go about looking great for less. Here are a few ways you can save money in every area of your personal appearance.
Hair:
Before you dismiss the concept of getting your hair cut at a beauty school think about it for a moment. There are dozens of students there who are learning and are eager to take care of you and do well. A seasoned hair dresser may determine that they understand what it is best for your hair and make little changes you might not have approved of. A student will listen to you and do their best to give you the hairstyle you requested. When you factor that in with the saving you can get, you would be foolish not to give it a try.

Clothes:Get familiar with being a clearance shopper. Every department store puts their clothes on clearance at some point. Clothes are not like expensive chocolates. Clothes are often sold at a discount. Heading to the clearance rack, especially when the clothes are about to become out of season, is a great way to find great value for a little bit of money. The more reasonable the store, the more clothes you can get for your money.

Makeup:It's hard to match the quality of good makeup with cheaper brands, but a good way to try is at the cosmetic counter. There you can ask a consultant to match the color of makeup that is right for you. Once you have that knowledge you can begin to shop for a similar color of makeup that is on sale.

Everything organic is good for you. If you find your skin looking a bit dye, or irritated than you might be using the wrong type of makeup products on your skin. We all have different complexions and sometimes, our skin may react differently from one another. There are however a range of natural cosmetics available in the market.

Although these products are known to not have the best results when it comes to coverage, the major benefit of natural cosmetics is that they are proven to be suited for individuals with sensitive or acne prone skin. This is a good way to remove any irritation that you may have and still have some coverage while your skin is recovering from all the dirt and makeup from the past.

I must admit I have been overindulging in ice cream this past month, which has already made some of my tighter clothes unfitting. And although I am sorry to say this, I'm going on a stricter diet from today, which means little or no carbs – and no ice cream.

As I am sucking on ice cubes, imagining it was thick, delicious Italian gelato (did I mention I was a real foodie?), I am trying to decide which fitness activity to start, since there is no such thing as true weight loss without exercise.

And although I am going to start running as soon as I can fit into my shorts, I am not going to sit round doing nothing: I'm going to breathe.

You've read right, you can exercise while simply breathing, which is a technique I learnt in my lazier years. The trick is to inhale, contract any muscles you have in the abdominal area, hold your breath for a few seconds and exhale, relaxing your muscles. Doing this becomes natural after a couple of minutes.

Breathing your stomach muscles into shape can be done virtually anywhere, sitting in front of a computer, watching a chick-flick or riding public transportation. It can be also done with other body parts, such as buttocks or thighs.

Happy exercise breathing, and let me know if any of you are on the weight loss path too, we can share the heart pain!

We all have habits that may be damaging to our health and skin, whether it's stopping for donuts before work every morning or visiting the tanning bed once a month to achieve a bronze glow.

But some of these habits are far more damaging to our health and skin than we realize and may be difficult to stop. Too much alcohol, drug use, and smoking can cause a number of health problems, including:

Premature aging
Heart problems
Various types of cancer
Weight gain (there's a reason it's called a Beer Belly!)
Liver disease
Sexual dysfunction
Infertility/birth defects if consumed while pregnant

These are just a few of many problems that can be avoided. If you want to stay radiant and beautiful, it's a good idea to consider giving up these vices. While alcohol in moderation is not necessarily harmful and can even be beneficial, no good can come from drinking it in excess. As for drugs and smoking, there is no circumstance in which it can ever be good for you.

If you think you have a problem, consider these tips for ridding yourself of unhealthy vices and getting back on track to a beautiful you:

1. Get help. If your alcohol or drug use is interfering with your social life, relationships, or work, you may need professional help. There are many outpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers that can give you the help you need while still allowing you to carry on with your daily activities.

2. Make a list of why you want to quit and go to that list when you feel tempted.

3. Enlist the help of friends. Your friends and family want you to be healthy and beautiful, so ask for their support in quitting. You could ask that they not smoke around you so you're not tempted, or look for activities that don't involve alcohol.

Want to look good in mirror and in other people's eyes? its simple, do a full body workout. Still, there are some people who just concentrate on upper body, not giving much importance to legs, which results in CHICKEN legs.. When we are talking about body building, then it includes legs too, why some people don't get this? Each and every body parts should be trained, especially legs from every angle.

Personally, I have seen many people constantly working out in gym solely for chest, bigger arms, broad shoulders, but legs. Many youngsters, who have just started training in gym, want those six pack abs and v-shape body within months. They just don't care that how weird they would look in those chicken legs. My advice: Don't make your everyday, upper body day.

In my opinion, whether you want to train yourself for any sports or just for the sole purpose of making yourself happy, a pair of good legs would be great. There are many myths about training legs and the one heard most of the time is that it won't help upper half in building muscles. Please, just don't listen to those who think training legs is waste of time. Legs can make or break your appearance.

Training legs muscles on regular basis, works out for the whole body. To look just great, you need to maintain the proper size of each part of your body. Apart from that, training legs have many health benefits such as fat loss, improves your blood circulation, builds muscles, improves heart rate and helps in fighting many health diseases.

Killer Workouts for Legs and its Benefits:

1. Hamstrings Exercises: When Working out for legs to get a perfect tone and tighten them, you can't neglect hamstrings. From all, training hamstrings muscles are very important and is my favorite too. Hamstrings are the one that controls your legs activities like bending them and flexing. To tone your back thighs in great shape, hamstrings exercises are the best. There are many great exercises that are specifically targeting hamstrings such as: Dumbbell Stiff-legged Deadlift, Floor Glute-Ham Raise, Barbell Deadlift, Lying Leg Curls, Romanian Barbell Deadlift.

2. Quads workouts: Simply, we call them as the thighs, a large group of muscles at the top and front of your legs. This is what we call quadriceps in technical terms. If you are seeing yourself participating in body building competitions, then you should think of developing larger thighs, with quadriceps training or I should say its a must. Some of the best ones for quadriceps training are: Box Squat with Bands, Jumping Lunge, Barbell Lunge , Squat with Stability Ball, Front Squats With Two Kettle bells.

3. Leg Presses: There is always debate going on between leg press and squats for toning legs in perfect shape and size. I would rank both of them very high as each of them has it own sets of benefits when training leg muscles.  Leg presses are great for burning down huge amount of calories from quads and helps strengthening lower body. Leg press works for hamstrings, quadriceps and glutes too, building both strength and size in the quads. This legs exercise are very simple with many variations for great results.

4. Squats: The most popular exercise among women's to tone down their butt and thighs. Nothing works like squats when you want to create symmetry and to tone down your legs. Many people consider squats solely for leg exercise, but in reality its an exercise for full body movement including hamstrings and glutes. This exercise works every muscle, a great workout for whole body, mainly targeting your butt and thighs. For bigger thighs, quadriceps and heavy weight squats are unbeatable. Some of the most popular variations of squats are: Barbell squat, Box Squat, Wide Stance Squat, Barbell Front Squat, Assisted Squat, Goblet Bulgarian Split Squat, Barbell Side Split Squat

Again, Never Ever Skip a Leg Day!!

No matter how much you spend on makeup, there is just no substitute for great skin. Here are a few healthy skin care tips based on diet to help you get that youthful glow you once enjoyed.

1. DO get the natural benefit of cucumbers — the best way to clean out your skin from the inside. Drink fresh cucumber juice combined with carrot and apple for a delicious "inner facial."

2. DO experiment with natural masks made with blended oatmeal, avocado, yogurt, and honey. Wet your face with a warm washcloth to open the pores and apply. Wait until dry, and gently rinse off with warm water. Finish off with a cool rinse to close the pores. Your face will love it!

3. DO avoid processed and oily foods. When the body senses these toxins, some of that natural expulsion is through your skin.

4. DO relax with your feet up on the wall (unless you have high blood pressure) for five minutes every day. This brings a fresh supply of blood to all the organs of your body, — your skin is the largest one of them. It's also very calming.

Take advantage of the abundance of information on food tips for healthy skin and enjoy a second chance at looking and feeling younger!

What?!?!

Well, its true that you can treat pimples. I learned this trick from good ol' mom. I have pretty clear skin (most of the time) but once in a while, a lovely little zit- or gigantic pimple, will greet me in the morning while brushing my teeth. With the toothbrush helplessly dangling from my lips, I squeeze the heck out of my visitor in a frantic rage. Then, after finding that I neglected to pick up any astringent or blemish cream, I reach for the toothpaste.

Toothpaste For Pimples:
Just a dab on the zit will do, and works best overnight unless you don't mind having a blue or green spot on your face throughout the day (like me). There is an interesting cooling sensation on the blemish after applying toothpaste, and it shrinks the pimple dramatically and reduces redness. Not to mention, the fresh mint smell isn't bad either.

So how does this work? Well the toothpaste acts almost like a face mask by drying out the pimple. And, in most cases the paste will contain a menthol or natural mint oil which will draw impurities from the skin. However, try not to leave the toothpaste on too long- especially if you have sensitive skin, because if skin gets too dry it can become irritated.

The next time you have a blemish, zit, pimple, whitehead, whatever you want to call it, take some advice from mom. Slap a little toothpaste on the zit while polishing the pearly whites.

Have you ever given a thought about this? According to well conducted researches and studies, it has come to known that by sitting for 7-8 long hours each day, we are giving a green signal to many health diseases. The more people sat, more dangerous health problems, including higher risks of cancer, organ damage, heart diseases and diabetes.

Today, most of us are doing office work, majorly on computers and laptops for straight 8-9 hours. These people who are sitting continuously on their chair for these long hours without taking breaks are the one risking their health. Research shows that Office workers and long route drivers are in particular risks of suffering major health problems.

Some Serious Health Risks:

1. Diabetes: It doesn't matters that how much fit you are or exercising daily. If you are sitting for those long 7-8 hours, then you could be one of the victim for type 2 diabetes. Many researches shows that by sitting more, our body slows down calorie burning rate, which effects body's ability to handle blood sugar negatively. In such situations, the glucose which should be used as energy by our body cells, won't work as it should, and these causes type 2 diabetes.

2. Organ damage: It is not hidden anymore that by sitting for long hours, our body burns calories very less and blood flow slows down. No movement in the muscles causes inefficient use of insulin, which leads to major health problems like cancer, breast cancer, heart problems and diabetes. In fact, there are major risks of increased heart diseases. Research shows that such diseases are less found in those who sits least compared to those who sits for very long hours.

3. Obesity: Whether you are sitting and watching TV or are working in office in front of computer, you are going to gain weight. Today, sitting is the new smoking, which can lead to many health problems, one such is obesity. Sitting for long hours does expand your butts and further it leads to obesity.

4. Reduced Social Skills: No one can deny with this fact. Its often found that those people who are continuously sitting in front of computers are less likely to get involved in social life. We have hundreds and thousands of friends on Facebook and Twitter, but very few in reality. Sitting down for very long hours affects your life in both ways: Mental and Physical. Most of you would agree that those people who are sitting more are not able to socialize properly with other people, compared to those who sit least.

5. Back and Neck Problems: We all know about this health problem and almost everyone of us have suffered from this. Sitting in front of computers for long hours can easily cause back, neck and shoulder pain. Not taking enough breaks and poor posture are some of the common reason for such health problems. So, next time, if you are suffering from this health problem, you know the exact reason behind it.

6. Death: If you still think that you don't fall in the above mentioned scenarios and have nothing to do with your long hour sitting habits, I would like to inform that the research and studies by scientists from all over the world shows that: More than 60% people are likely to die at an early age, if they are sitting for 7-8 hours daily compared to those people who sit for less than 2-3 hours per day.

Counterattack Sitting Diseases. Here's how:
- Stand up if you are still reading this and are planning to read few of my other posts.
- Consider walking during commercials
- Got a phone call? - Why not walk and talk.
- Use stairs instead of elevators
- If its your job to work for long hours consider about standing desk or a high table
- No matter how much important work is- take a break
- Drink enough water all day
- Park your vehicle at a far distance, so you can have a walk
- Do stand once every hour.

If your vacation is coming round in just a week or two, and the bikini you bought two months ago is still a size too small, although you promised yourself you will workout four times a week - it's high time you did something.

And even though I for one am against quick fixes to any problem, sometimes there just isn't enough time for anything else. So, if you want to lose up to 6 pounds in a week, you should lay off salt. This is because excess salt consumption causes fluid retention which in turn causes swelled tummies, puffy eyes and weird looking skin.

This means - no pizza, ready made meals, salami, olives, chips, soy sauce, cheeseburgers...and all other salty items, especially table salt. Be careful to check the ingredients list - look for NaCl, sodium chloride or simply sodium, because there are many items with hidden sodium. For your reference, a simple McDonald's salad can have up to 1,1 grams of sodium in it, and that's without the dressing! Find useful information about sodium levels in common foods here.

I tend to use less salt in my food for over a year now. At first all the food tasted bland, but after a week I began tasting other flavors, which were usually hidden with all the salt I used. I learnt that many herbs add salty flavor - such as rosemary and thyme. Also, I would suggest against using salt substitutes, since they exchange sodium for something else (such as potassium), which is not really healthy.

At last a warning: for your well being and the proper functioning of your body's electrolytes you should take at least 2 to 4 grams of salt a day, which translates to 1,5 grams of sodium. This is not much if you know that an average American takes at least 9 grams of salt a day. So, you should take 2 grams per day for a week to get rid of all excess water and than bring the level up to 4 grams, so that the fluid retention does not come back.

Just because you weren't born with cheekbones like a supermodel doesn't mean you can't own them...without plastic surgery. Makeup artists have long known how to use makeup to contour or create shadows where none naturally exist. This is a technique that takes a practiced hand; you want it to look natural, not like you're creating shadows.

So how do you define cheekbones? Use two colors of blush, close in tone (that means, if you're using one peach blush, both should be peach; two pinks; two bronzes, etc.). Suck in your cheeks and sweep the darker blush directly under your cheekbones, or where the hollow is created. Sweep the lighter color onto the apples of your cheeks. Blend, blend, blend.

Want to make a round face narrower? Again, you'll need two shades of loose powder, one only slightly darker than your complexion, the other lighter. Sweep the darker powder all the way along your jawline, using a fan brush like this instead of the normal big, puffy brush you use for face powder.

This may take some practice, so set aside a day when you have time to try these techniques and see if you can't create great angles with simple makeup application instead of expensive surgery.

Hope you liked my post. Please share it with your friends.

I know a lot about nutrition and skin care, but I'll make a confession here: I have a weakness for Coca-Cola. However, I know better than to drink it every day or even several times a week. Like soda in general, Coca-Cola has a high amount of sugar in it and if I drink it too often (replacing the water I should be drinking), I can see the results in my face and on the scale. So Coke becomes a once-a-week treat for me.

The rest of the time, I'm guzzling water and sometimes juice. Juice can also have a high amount of sugar, so even when companies try to pass off their brands as "healthy," you really have to read the nutrition labels to see what you're drinking. Many of us take in empty calories without realizing it because instead of eating them, we're drinking them.

Water is the best beverage for your body, but it took me a while to appreciate the taste of "naked water." I know many people feel the same way, so I'm going to share some tips to hopefully get you up to a minimum of eight glasses a day. Here are the top 35 health benefits of drinking water.

Eight Glasses a Day for Better Health

1. Pack it in the morning. If you sit at a desk all day and don't want to get up for water every hour, try using a plastic beverage bottle. Some models carry a day's requirement of liquid, so toss in some ice cubes to keep your water cool all day long.

2. Flavor it. You can add a splash of lemon for taste without loading on calories. Or, for minimal calories and maximum flavor, try Crystal Light On The Go. These small take-along packets can fit in your purse and come in flavors like orange, raspberry, or peach tea, just to name a few. For 5 little calories, you can have a full-flavor drink that you may find more appealing than naked water.

Also See: How Drinking Water Can Speedup Weight Loss

3. Mix it. What I do sometimes when I'm craving something sweet, is to mix 1/2 water, 1/2 juice. I can still satisfy my sweet tooth, but at half the calories of a full cup of juice.

4. Drink it warm. Some people actually prefer room temperature water. If ice-cold water doesn't appeal to you, try drinking it at a warmer temperature.

Try one or all of these tips and see if it helps make water more yummy for you.

Definition of stress differs from one person to another. However, in common, it is often described as a feeling of being overloaded, not feeling good, mental pressure, tense and worried. We all experience stress in our daily life and its unavoidable. Some people feel stress in their office work, students in college, women in home, its a part of our life and is normal response to any type of change.

Stress are of two types good stress and bad stress. Yes, believe me, there is a good stress and it is called as "Eustress". This good stress motivates us to achieve a goal, the one we always have in mind, but are not able to fight for. Have you ever felt that you have to quit smoking at any cost, have to lose weight, stop drinking alcohol? Now you must have realized, that yes, there is a good stress. This kind of stress is manageable and helps to bring positive changes in our life.

Bad stress is the one, which we have to manage in our daily life, for a healthy and stress free life. Its true, that if we are highly stressed, then we can't take the right decisions, it makes us feel depressed, angry, lowers our energy level, irritability and impulsivity. People who are suffering from stress daily are not able to think clearly, face difficulties in work, loses concentration easily. Not only that much, such people can easily fall ill, in both manner, physically and mentally. Hence, it is recommended to get rid of stress, in anyway we can.

There are many logical and physical ways with which we can simply get rid of this bad stress instantly and manage it on daily basis. Here are some Simple Stress Busters Tips:
1. Do What You Love: For me, its listening to music on high volume and doing workouts. This has worked for me every time and I literally live a good life. When, listening to music and doing workouts, I feel more confident, have peace on my mind. Not to forget, good muscles and healthy body always makes you feel good about you. So if you are into workouts, never skip a day, especially Monday.

2. Blogging: I also love to blog on health related topics and it makes me feel good. Start writing on a favorite topic of yours, and see how easily you get rid of this bad stress.

3. Watch Comedies: Love to watch comedies, then what are you waiting for. Watch comedy TV show, movies or Tom & Jerry, all time best. Laughter is the best medicine. Laughing is good for our health in many ways and it makes people feel good.

4. Get Some Sleep: Its important to get sleep as well, so if you are feeling stressed, listen to good music on your phone and try to get some sleep.

5. Visit Religious Places: Helped me many times. Used to sit in temples for hours, used to listen spiritual or religious talks. For many people, this has literally helped. Try it once, there is nothing to lose.

That's it folks. Hope, this could help you to beat the stress for a healthy and happy life.

To get those WOW Abs, it's important to concentrate on three essential practices and they are: Proper Diet, Right Workout Plan and Patience. Yes, these three are the key factors which can help you to get those desirable abs you always wanted to. There are many different exercises, if done properly, can help you to get the right abs within two months. Not to forget, without a proper diet plan, it won't be possible to get those perfect abs. High quality protein diet is a basic need, which helps to build muscles and gives us energy to do hard work.

Here We Go:

For getting killer abs, we should concentrate on the three portions of our body and they are upper, middle and lower. It takes time to see some noticeable results, so don't get upset, just push yourself a little harder to see where you can be after few weeks of workout.

Crunches, Hanging Knee Raises, Sit-Ups (Elbow to Knee Twist) are some of the best to start with your upper abdominal exercises. Crunches are my all time favorite, these can be done anywhere and is one of the most common exercise for abs. Simply lie down on your back and only lift your upper back from the floor. You can also place your hands behind neck or head, remember, do not put pressure in your neck, use the strength and energy from your abdominal only. This exercise will strengthen your muscles as well as upper back together.

For middle abdominal, consider exercises like jogging, swimming, cycling, sit ups, skipping, weight training and many more. Sit-ups and running strengthens your middle abdominal and back muscles. The bicycle exercise is best for abdominal muscles. To do this exercise, lie down on flat surface on your back and extend your legs straight in front of you forming an L shape. Now, alternatively start moving your legs like you are riding a bicycle. Make sure that you are doing it slowly and are engaging your core throughout this to make it much better for your back.
My favorites for lower abdominal exercises are Incline Leg Raises, Reverse Crunches, pelvic tilt and planks. This exercises are just awesome for getting those perfect abs quickly. Planks not only works for abdominal, but it also strengthens muscles of whole body. The best part about this exercise is that it doesn't requires any equipment. To do this exercise, lie down on the floor, like you are performing a push up. Make sure that your back is straight and your head, neck and spine are parallel to the ground. In beginning, hold this position for 20 seconds. Repeat daily and hold your position for longer time. Leg raises are simple, but great for results. To perform this one, simply lie down on your back and lifts up your legs slowly up to 45-degree angle. Hold it right there for few seconds then low down your legs, make sure that they are not touching the floor. Keep your legs two inches above the floor and repeat the process.

Proper Diet is the Key:

Skipping your breakfast and meals is not going to help you to get those perfect abs. Always eat and drink high quality protein food, keeping muscles in mind. Foods that are rich in high fiber and proteins like fruits, eggs, fish, green vegetables, lean meat and peanut butter are best for getting energy and doing workouts effectively. Drink lots of water, I would say 3-4 liters of water would be great. Water not only helps your muscles to grow, but it also gives you healthy skin and keeps body weight in control.

Remember, when you are doing workouts for abs to get one like your favorite celebrities and athletes, avoid drinking soda and sugar from your diet.

Maybe you add a teaspoon or two to your daily coffee or tea. It's in your favorite dark chocolate-you know, the chocolate that's supposed to be good for you? It's in cereal, sauces and in many places you wouldn't expect. What is this ubiquitous ingredient? Sugar.

Sugar is expert at making things taste good, especially foods that are labeled "bad" for us, but it's also found in foods we eat thinking we're being "good." Sugar is naturally found in fruit and while making fruit sweet and delicious, this is the kind of sugar that's good for your body and your Skin.

I know you wouldn't want to age your skin unnecessarily, but apparently, that's what too much sugar will do.

Skip the Sugar for Youthful Skin

What if you added more fruit to your diet while simultaneously cutting out one soda per day? What if you replaced one juice drink with water? What if you started reading the labels of every food item you bought and made healthier choices by cutting out as much bad sugar as possible?

It would be overwhelming to do this overnight, but by making one little change per day or per week, in a few month's time, your entire diet could be revamped and your skin would probably thank you by glowing in its new and improved state. Want to try it?
We all suffer from hair loss and there is no denial with the fact. There could be many reasons for hair fall like dandruff, stress, improper diet, imbalance of hormones, oily scalp and many more. To begin with treatments of hair fall, it’s important to know the actual reason of hair loss. Once you have the reason, you can easily concentrate on the right solutions to strengthen your hair and fight against hair fall.

Following are some effective home remedies to treat hair fall:

1. Know the Reason: When it comes to hair loss, if often starts with the changes that you have with done your hair. For example, if you have recently colored your hair, straighten them out or have started using lots of mousse. If that is so, avoid using them for few days, to see if it helps to stop hair fall.

2. Hot oil Massage: Regular massage of scalp for minimum 20-30 minutes can improve the stimulate circulation, which keeps hair fossils active and fights hair fall. Regular oiling your hair with coconut oil can be of great benefits. For hot oil treatment with coconut oil, heat it up, not too hot, and then massage your scalp for at least 20-30 minutes. Wait for 1 hour, and then wash it up with a good shampoo. This will make your hair smooth, silky and shiny.

3. Get Natural Juice Diet: There are many vegetables juices that can help you to fight hair fall. Some of the best ones that are being used for centuries are: Onion juice, Garlic juice and Ginger juice, for getting positive results in treating hair fall. For best results, using this therapy, massage your scalp with any above mentioned juice and then leave it on overnight and wash it properly in morning.

Studies and researches shows that onion juice works as stimulant in fighting hair fall and strengthen them, by improving blood circulation in scalp. So, if you haven't tried onion juice for treating hair fall, its good to give a try.

4. Meditate or Yoga: From my personal experience, I can say that main cause of hair loss is excessive stress and tension. Too much stress not only results in hair loss, but it also affects our health in negative ways. Regular meditation and doing yoga can help anyone to get rid of daily life stress and tension and to lead a happy life and fight hair fall. If you are not healthy, then how can be your body be healthy and that results in hair loss and physical deterioration. Join a yoga class and meditate regularly to get rid of hair fall and bring happiness in your life.

5. Never Experiment with Shampoos and Conditioners: One of the obvious reasons of hair loss is experimenting with shampoos and shower gels. We all know that shampoos are not natural and consists of chemical products, if used of many types, can damage your hair and that results in hair loss. My recommendation is to use an herbal product which helps regrowth and strengthen your hair at its roots.

Last, but not the least. Avoid washing your hair on daily basis, twice in a week would be great, unless you don't have a date tonight. Wash your hair with cold water, warm water can dry your hair and removes the natural oil from scalp.

The above mentioned are some tips which can definitely help you to fight hair loss and have long shiny hair by strengthening it from its roots. Hope you liked it..

Everything is shiny nowadays: handbags, jewelry and lips, hair is no exception. You will be surprised to find out how easy it is to get the ultimate hair shine.

Many girls simply forget how our hair looked when they were kids, when all care it got was a shampooing every week. Our hair was shiny and healthy, but the older we got the less shine it had.

This can be blamed on excessive product use. Just think about it: you wash and condition your hair, put on some leave in conditioner, mousse, spray and maybe even some gel, no to mention special split-end serum and similar products. True, all of these enhance hair shine, but applied one over the other hair products tend to build up, leave residue and in fact make your hair dull.

I suggest taking some hair product rest for the ultimate shine. Simply wash your hair with a purifying shampoo, condition with a mild leave-in conditioner and let it air-dry.

This simple procedure will restore your natural shine, if you in fact don't have damaged hair, which might be so if you dye your hair, blow-dry it, brush vigorously or get perms.
In our twenties and thirties we have great skin and think it will last forever. Despite seeing our mother's wrinkles and skin discolorations, we still take skin maintenance lightly, and never think how it will affect us later in life.

I for one am not terrified of wrinkles, but would prefer as few as possible. I also like the tanned look, but take it from the jar or a spray, and stay away from tanning beds, wearing sunscreen all the time. Is there anything else a girl can do to look great 20, 30 or 40 years from now?

Yes, there are really important skin care routines which can make your face age more kindly, while preventing brake-outs, roughness and other issues in the meantime.

First and foremost: moisturize. I know you all have jars and tubes all over your bathroom, but how often do you really put cream on? You should do it at least three times a day - in the morning, before putting your makeup on, in the afternoon, when you take your makeup off, and before going to sleep. A good moisturizer will act as a filter between your skin and the rest of the world, while giving skin the water it loses because of the heat or the cold.

There are many great moisturizers available right now, don't be shy to try out different ones until you find the one that suits you perfectly. Also, consider getting a special night cream, especially for the colder season, when your skin needs more nourishment.

Second, always take your makeup off. Think about it: how can your skin breathe under foundation, concealer, color, loose powder and everything else? Even if you're really tired, it pays off to spend five minutes removing makeup, if nothing else, you won't wake up with raccoon eyes and late for work.

Third, scrub is your skin's friend. I have noticed that if you scrub your face every day (with a quality mild scrub), you will get rid of all the smog, dirt, pollution and dead skin cells, cleanse your pores and minimize chances of breakouts and black-heads. A good thing is to alternate between a specially anti-acne formulated scrub and a mild, scented one.

These three things, together with sunscreen, will undoubtedly make your skin nicer, less dull, radiant and softer. It will take you round 15 minutes a day to follow these routines, which is not much, wouldn't you agree?

A lot can be learnt from runways, not only what clothes trends are in and how to wear it, but also valuable makeup tips and tricks.

I was really pleasantly surprised with Paco Rabanne Fall Ready-to-Wear runway show. Besides gorgeous clothes, Rabanne also had the wits to employ the wonderful Patt McGrath to do the models' makeup.

She used a highlighter on the inner corners of the eye, making models eyes appear larger and more rested. But she also put a dab of the same highlighter above the middle of the upper lip, so that models lips looked plumper and 'juicier'.

This is a great trick to know in this age of 'Angelina Jolie' lips, when lip plumpers are getting sales boost like no one could expect. Although I have fairly plump lips, I did try a couple of plumpers, but I can't honestly say they did their job well enough for me to continue using it.

But I really like this makeup trick; because you don't have to torture your lips to make them look kissable. The only thing you need is a great highlighter, which should be applied only to that little dent above the upper lip, in small, almost invisible quantity. You can go for a shimmery white (silver) or a shimmery golden highlighter, as I've tried it both look great.

I like Bare Escentuals Eye Quickies which come packed together in Ice Queen and Sun Goddess shades, and which last forever. You need to apply these with a small brush. If you prefer an all in one highlighter, try Benefit Mr. Frosty highlighting pencil in pearly white.

And remember, little is more with highlighters, so study the photo thoroughly and apply only a little!
It's estimated that Americans gain an average of seven pounds during the holiday season, beginning at Thanksgiving and continuing this little food fest until New Years. Unless you want to count yourself among the millions who wake up on January 1, vowing to kick your chubby butt in gear, practice some simple steps at all your holiday parties to keep your weight under control.

1. Eat before the party. That doesn't mean eat a four-course meal and then go partying. That means eat a small, healthy snack at home. Some suggestions: fresh fruit, yogurt, whole wheat bagel, rice cakes, a couple of peanut butter crackers.

2. Eat the healthy stuff first. When the hors d'oeuvres trays start coming, reach for the fresh fruits and vegetables first. Make these healthy snacks the base of your party consumption and you may find yourself too full for too much chocolate.

3. Don't stand next to the food all night. We've all this person at parties. He or she guards the food table like the Snack Police. Don't let this be you. You're at the party to mingle, make new connections, have fun! So talk to people you know and introduce yourself to some you don't know. Leave the Snack Police job to someone else.

4. Eat goodies in moderation. Let's face it-part of the fun of the holidays is all the treats. Office parties, private parties, family gatherings...yummy food is everywhere. Because it's such a special time of year, I wouldn't feel right advising anyone to deprive themselves, but eat these goodies in moderation. Instead of gobbling down a brownie, a Christmas cookie and a huge mug of eggnog, decide which one you want the most. Select a small portion and relish every bite. You might not even end up eating the whole thing. If you do, don't beat yourself up about it.

5. Watch your alcohol consumption. We tend to eat more when we feel relaxed and happy. Set a limit on drinks-two is a good number; three an absolute max. Otherwise, you may wake up the next day and find a YouTube video of yourself dancing on a tabletop while wearing a lampshade on your head. And nothing else.

6. Exercise. I know, you're busy. How can you possibly fit exercise in a crowded schedule? While you might not be able to keep up a full workout routine, don't abandon it altogether. If you're not done Christmas shopping, slip some sneakers on your feet and walk the mall at a brisk pace in between stops. If you don't have time for a 30-minute exercise session, do 10 minute intervals, three or four times a day. You do have 10 minutes, don't you?
It's not hidden that women with curly hair faces dry hair problem, especially in the season of summer and monsoon.

However, with right hair care and tips, it is really easy to take care of your dry hair, in any conditions or season.

1. To rinse your hair, use cold water and avoid hot water. There is no denial that steamy showers make you feel great, but high temperatures can really dry your hair. Hence, the first thing to do is to make sure that you are using cold water to rinse your hair.

2. Avoid using hair accessories like pins, clips, curlers, nets, etc. when you are sleeping.

3. Use your hair straighteners and other heating equipments in limit, as excessive heating can damage your hair and can make them more dry.

4. Use best conditioners to deeply condition your hair to keep your hair healthy and more smooth. Never experiment too much with conditioners. Only use the one which suits your hair.

5. Wash your hair every alternate day. No more, no less. Daily shampoo will dry your hair out. If you are not planning to go out or don't have a date, wear a head band or you can also wrap up your hair.
